Mercedes me Charge is the official charging network of Mercedes-Benz Electric. Through MBUX in your vehicle or the Mercedes me Connect app on your phone, you can seamlessly plan trips, locate charging stations and initiate payment at nearly 60,000 public chargers nationwide.
Using the Mercedes me Charge RFID Card
At ChargePoint and EVGo stations, there are RFID-card readers where your included keychain-sized RFID card is the preferred method to begin a charging session. Simply scan the RFID card, and the charger authentication will use your Mercedes me Charge account to begin the charging session. This authentication method requires the registration of your included RFID card with your

Using Plug & Charge
This is the easiest and most straightforward method for charging. At all Electrify America stations and more networks to come, use Plug & Charge to start a charging session. Simply plug in your vehicle, and the charging station will complete a “digital handshake” with your vehicle to process payment authentication and start charging. Plug & Charge requires successful activation of Mercedes me
Charge. Please note that the MY22/23 EQB doe not have Plug & Charge capability. Please utilize the MBUX Headunit to start a charging session at Electrify America chargers for the EQB.
Using MBUX navigation system
The Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) headunit can also be used to start a charging session. This method is supported by all charging station operator. Using the navigation, select the charging station you would like to charge at, scroll down to the image of a charging post, click the plug, and click “yes” when the system asks if you want to charge at the selected charging station. Please ensure you are parked at the correct charging station by looking at the charger ID on the screen and reference the ID at the charger where you are parked. You can start a charging session with any charging point operator using this method, including Electrify America for the EQB.
