The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB is a fun-to-drive luxury compact SUV with seating for up to seven people. Mercedes-Benz offers the 2024 GLB in two trims: the GLB 250 SUV and the GLB 250 4MATIC® SUV. The main difference between these two trims is the 250 4MATIC® version comes exclusively with Mercedes’s innovative all-wheel-drive system. This SUV has a distinct appearance with its semi-boxy design, rectangular-shaped front grille, and a dropped fascia with large inserts adding to the sporty and muscular look of the 2024 GLB. Both trims have an overall wheelbase of 111.4 inches, an overall height of 65.3 inches, and an overall width of 79.5 inches with the mirrors out.
This snappy SUV has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a mild hybrid system that produces 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. An 8G-DCT eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission pairs with this powerful en
gine. Front-wheel drive comes with the GLB 250, and 4MATIC® all-wheel drive comes exclusively with Mercedes-Benz’s innovative all-wheel-drive system for the 250 GLB 4MATIC® trim.
This compact SUV comes with two rows of seats that can fit up to five people, or up to seven people with the optional third-row seats that are suitable for small children. Upscale synthetic leather upholstery comes standard for both trims or optional full-leather upholstery is available. Attractive features include heated, power-adjustable front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. With the optional Winter Package, the GLB has a heated steering wheel.
There’s plenty of room to carry luggage and supplies inside the 2024 GLB. With all three rows upright, there are 12.4 cubic feet of storage space. With the third-row seats folded down, 20 cubic feet of cargo space are available, and with both rows folded flat, the Mercedes-Benz GLB reveals up to 62.0 cubic feet of storage space.
A 10.25-inch touchscreen and digital display cluster come with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Optional features include a Burmester surround sound audio system, MB navigation, and a head-up display.
